This photobook acts as an extension to my project ‘MOLESKINES’, looking at my father’s reflections to the lost archive imagery taken by him in the years after his stroke. 16 rolls of 35mm film were found in the process of shooting MOLESKINES and as part of reflecting on memory, my father has revisited these moments in time. These rolls of film hadn’t been lost but rather forgotten, constantly in a memory loop to be developed.
The book sequence is comprised of archive 35mm film scans, my fathers reflection on the imagery and scanned in notes and archive material found in the Moleskine diaries.
This project is still in development with a publication soon on its way.
